We need Our Lady's prayers more than ever!
The Canadian and US Bishops are consecrating our nations to Our Lady on the feast of her blessed spouse, St. Joseph (patron of Canada, the Archdiocese of Winnipeg, and of the Universal Church).
Prayer of Consecration for May 1 forthcoming.

Church in Canada - "To consecrate means to entrust into someone’s care something important and precious. In this case, we entrust ourselves, our families, communities, all those affected by COVID-19 and indeed our entire country to the Mother of God. We believe in the power of prayer and especially intercessory prayer. At this difficult time of pandemic, we ask the Virgin Mary to pray for us and to pray with us to the Lord so that, through her intercession, we may obtain from God the necessary graces, the wisdom and the courage, the insights and peace of heart to respond responsibly and with faith to the challenges at hand. Furthermore, May is the month dedicated in a special way to the Mother of Christ. We believe that she is, in a spiritual but real sense, our mother too. For this reason, we turn to her with love and devotion and ask for the help of her powerful and maternal prayers to God for us at this time."
- Brief comment from Most Reverend Richard Gagnon, CCCB President, on the 1 May 2020 Marian Consecration. Further information to follow.
