Spiritual Adoption Program
The Spiritual Adoption Program is a 9-month prayer adventure during which families can spiritually adopt an unborn baby to pray for. Children are given regular email updates which teach them about the development of the child in the womb, and reinforce the dignity of life from the moment of conception. Moreover, this program teaches children the habit and power of prayer, and brings together family members as they pray for the life of their spiritually adopted child.
At the end of the program, all families are invited to attend a Baby Shower in May at which time they may make a material donation of diapers, formula, or the like, which will be donated to the local Crisis Pregnancy Centre. The Baby Shower is a celebration of these 9 months of prayer, and we would like to reward those children who follow the program faithfully over the 9 months with a chance to win one of several prizes:
· 1 lottery draw for a child who completes his/her Prayer Calendar; · 1 lottery draw for a child who completes his/her Developmental Journal; · 1 lottery draw for a child who donates a gift at the Baby Shower.
