National Vocations Awareness Week begins today
A blessed Solemnity of All Saints!

Today we kick-off the National Week for Vocations Awareness (Nov 1 - 7).
Our Serra club (Brandon) is handing out information on Vocations after all Masses this weekend, including for those discerning, and for families to cultivate vocations to the priesthood and religious life in the home.

Archdiocese of Winnipeg - National Vocation Awareness Week (November 1 to November 7) is an annual week-long celebration dedicated to promoting vocations to the priesthood, religious life, and married life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are discerning their vocation. During National Vocation Awareness week, please pray that young people today will hear and respond to God’s call. We invite you to do everything you can to encourage young men and women to consider the call to priesthood and religious life.

Prayer for Vocations
O God, who have chosen the apostles to make disciples of all nations
and who by baptism and confirmation have called all of us
to build up your holy Church,
bless our married couples and help them live out their vocation
through Christian family life,
a true Domestic Church, always open to your voice.
We earnestly implore you to choose from among us, your children,
many priests, deacons, and religious brothers and sisters,
who will love you with their whole heart and will gladly spend their entire lives
to make you known and loved by all.
Amen.
