Virtual Theology Summit | Friday, Nov 13 (Augustine Institute)
As you may know, many of the Scripture scholars from our Bible Conference last month are full-time faculty members at the Augustine Institute Graduate School of Theology. Our professors are dedicated to teaching from the heart of Scripture, adhering to what the Magisterium teaches: “[T]he study of the sacred page is, as it were, the soul of sacred theology” (Dei verbum, 24).
It is for this reason that our MA in Theology program includes a Concentration in Sacred Scripture. Our students enjoy classes on Salvation History, Wisdom Literature, the Prophets, the Gospels, St. Paul’s Epistles, Biblical interpretation, and more.
We invite you to learn more about how Sacred Scripture is at the heart of our curriculum by attending our upcoming prospective student events:
Virtual Theology Summit | Friday, November 13 at 11 a.m. MST
The first hour of our program will include a reflection on our patron, St. Augustine, and a discussion on the components of our curriculum: Sacred Scripture, Sacred Doctrine, History, and Mission. We then invite you to attend a breakout session on the Priesthood of St. Peter in Matthew 16, taught by Dr. Michael Barber.
